I thought the consensus was that community doesn't need AUR. And in that case we just turn the daemons and cronjobs off and community goes on its merry way with devtools. We would then just alter the DB to make all community packages dummies.

[aur-general] status moving to official db scripts?

Hi TUs, You may remember that we voted to move the community repo to use the official db scripts but not much has happened. Can I get a status update on what is happening with AUR support for this? That is the major hold-up. Allan

[aur-general] dropping Gnash?

Gnash is in Orphaned state for a long time. Is there any Dev wanting to pick it up? Any TU wants to maintain it? If not we will remove it so our community might pick it up for AUR. I myself will keep maintaining swfdec in extra as an OSS alternative for Adobe flash. -Andy

[aur-general] Gnomesword renamed do Xiphos

Hello, since the most recent update the popular bible study software gnomesword changed it's name to xiphos. Gnomesword has 40 votes and has been orphaned by the long standing maintainer. So now I would like to move xiphos to community. Any objections? Regards Stefan
