[aur-general] kdebindings-python provides bindings for Python 3.x

Hi all, I updated kdebindings-python to provides bindings for Python 3.x. Many projects still use python 2.x so, we'll keep a new kdebindings-python2 package in our repo. We already rebuilt our packages, please maintainers update your packages on AUR. >From now on, /usr/bin/pykdeuic4 will refer to the python3 version. /usr/bin/python2-pykdeuic4 will refer to the python2 version. Also, all examples and sip files, for the Python2 version, are stored respectively in /usr/share/apps/pykde4/python2-examples and /usr/share/sip/python2-PyKDE4 Thanks. -- Andrea

Hi, Please remove perl-javascript as it no longer builds with xulrunner 11.0, and a fix from upstream is very unlikely. Also, I've recently discovered that the same functionality is provided by perl-javascript-spidermonkey which builds / works fine. I've been maintaining for a few months the svn version of a thunderbird and firefox extension which are now broken and will not be fixed. The source file astrolog.dat is not one to delete from the build of the astrolog package. At a minimum it ought to go into /usr/share/astrolog since it is a configuration file the installed astrolog package will use if it finds it in the right place. The default for astrolog is to look for astrolog.dat in the astrolog directory right under the user's home directory. By default the ephemeris files also go into that astrolog directory as well. I think I can write myself an astrolog setup script which would do these things after a successful installation. The ephemeris files are in ephemall.zip and by default astrolog will use them if they're found. It's possible to edit astrolog.h and change some or all of these defaults but untouched that's where things go. For myself, I'd store charts in /home/jude/astrolog/charts so that requires at least one edit before building when I build it on slackware.
