aur give this: "libusb is on the package blacklist, please check if it's available in the official repos." Why? libusb isn't any more in the official repos. Arch now have libusbx, but I still need libusb to at least test some software to see if it works well with it, because libusbx may be the present/future but so far officially only in Arch...

[aur-general] Removal of two packages

Please remove my two packages, python-primitivelogger-git and python2-primitivelogger-git. I am the author of those mini-libs and have shut down their git repositories, so I see no need to leave broken packages around the AUR. Thanks!

[aur-general] Byobu has been orphaned

Hello all, AnotherZero, the maintainer for byobu, has orphaned the package. I'm afraid that I'm in the same boat as him, I don't really have time to do it (in my case learn how to) myself. Is anyone else up for maintaining it? If not, I will attempt to learn the skills necessary to get it packaged, however with my current schedule that will take a while. Any takers? PS anotherZero, if you're reading this, thanks so much for taking the time to maintain it for as long as you did!

[aur-general] Dropping cherokee from [community]

Upstream is going through some major restructuring and a new release isn't expected soon [1]. People using Cherokee should switch to one of the other web servers available in Arch's repositories. (I have submitted the existing PKGBUILD to the AUR. Note that it currently doesn't build with the latest ffmpeg from [staging].)
