Hi, uefivars-git https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/uefivars-git/ installs packages into /usr/sbin that is not recommended with the new pacman standard. I notified current maintainer 3 weeks ago and provided fiexed/cleaned PKGBUILD file. The maintainer never responded. Please orphan it. I would like to become the package maintainer, fix the issues and keep supporting the package.

Hi everyone, there's this package in AUR ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xfce4-volstatus-icon/ ) that won't compile, depends on HAL (deprecated) and isn't updated upstream since 2006. I think it should be removed. Have a nice day, Edoardo

[aur-general] Duplicated package for amule-adunanza

Hi everyone, there's two package that provides amule-adunanza: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/amule-adnza/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/amule-adunanza/ The first one is the correct one, is updated and maintained, the second one is orphaned and old. The right name of the package is amule-adunanza (like the second one) so after removing "amule-adunanza" the fist package must be renamed into amule-adunanza. Have a nice day, Edoardo

Hi everyone, there's two packages that provides the same software. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtk-theme-preferences-git/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtk-theme-config-git/ The first one has more votes (11 vs 3), but the second one has the right name (gtk-theme-preferences is wrong) and I know that the maintainer is in constant contact with the developer on Google+. I'd keep the second one, but the coiche is not mine :) Have a nice day, Edoardo
