These were the original uploaded PKGBUILDs, still referencing to a stale source: 1. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/mse-mtg/ 2. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/mse-mtg-phyrexian/ These were the uploads with the new content re-hosting, but the maintainer hasn't contacted me back about wanting to maintain the other MtG templates that're floating around (there's a few more): 1. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/magicseteditor-mtg/ 2. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/magicseteditor-mtg-base/ I was planning to wait until August to make a decision, but, like the title says, I'm not sure whether I should just submit updated packages on the AUR4 that point to the same sources as magicseteditor-mtg, wait for elegua to re-upload the packages for magicseteditor-mtg*, or upload the second set of links and add elegua as a contributor to make sure he still has write rights. I originally orphaned the first two links because I was thinking that elegua might be interested in merging it into the packages he uploaded so there aren't duplicate packages floating around.

[aur-general] Request to remove a commit on AUR4

I forgot 'git push --force' was no longer allowed in AUR4. I forgot to include .SRCINFO changes in the last commit, and I can no longer do 'git subtree push' to fix it because the pushed commit was rebased. I cannot use 'git reflog' and 'git reset' to go back to the old commit because I have pushed changes to other packages after rebasing. It seems the only way to fix it myself is doing 'git subtree pull', but it will cause the history become very ugly. Can I file a request to remove a commit for mingw-w64-gtk3 package? I cannot find this type of request on AUR4 webpage, but I hope this can be accepted.

[aur-general] Slight Modification to core package?

Hello everyone, I wasn't sure where to ask this, but here goes: Apparently the core sudo package is not compiled with the sssd flags. Since i need to recompile the package with sssd support, would I just upload the "sudo-sssd" package (or whatever i end up calling it), to the aur, or is there some more official way of going about this? Hi, I am adopting the sogo package, and already had the sogo-openchange and sogo-activesync packages. Nothing has been pushed in sogo-openchange nor sogo-activesync (nor sogo yet, though commit is ready to push). I'll be merging these three packages into a single split package. When trying to push to sogo, getting an error message: remote: error: cannot overwrite package: sogo-openchange In true SWAG form, I tried to "adopt" from their pages on the aur4 host with no change. :-) So, I'm stuck. [aur-general] AUR4 keywords in PKGBUILD?

Is it possible currently to set the keywords/tags in the PKGBUILD itself instead of on the website? (Previously, we had to set categories on the AUR website, but that felt suboptimal.) e.g. a keywords=('cats' 'dogs' ...); variable? Or, alternatively, would people be amenable to adding an ssh command in the AUR git-shell to add/remove/set keywords?

[aur-general] Doubts about Java {,bindings} packages

Hello everybody, I just wanted to share some doubts about some packages cointaining Java libraries. As I noticed that some official packages that usually ships Java libraries upstream (for binding or common usage) haven't such files in official PKGBUILDs/packages, I had to edit the official PKGBUILD in order to build also Java files. The actual packages I'm referring to are opencv[1] and gettext[2], for which I've created {opencv,gettext}-java (see [3],[4]). My doubts are the following: - As my packages are just some files that are missed from the official packages because of a missing 'java-environment' makedependency, should I open an issue in the bug tracker asking for the addition of the Java libraries? - Is it fine to host some files on AUR packages that are expected to be in the official packages? - Actually, for splitting already present packages and Java ones (the ones that aren't in official packages), I made a really simple but dirty thing; I made that 'make install' put files in '$srcdir/temp' and then I copy the files I need with a 'cp /path/to/file $pkgdir/path/in/os/to/file'. I tried creating a directory with something like 'mktemp -d -p $srcdir' but during package(), every temporary directory variable (made with 'tmpdir=$(mktemp -d -p $srcdir)') is lost and I can't create any directory (because we are in the fakeroot environment). I have no ideas for making this in a cleaner way, so I hope it is fine to do so; if someone has some suggestions, please tell me. TL;DR Should I ask to add this libraries in official packages or doing my AUR packages?
