Dear TU's, I have uploaded the following packages to the AUR: python2-biopython python-biopython to replace: biopython python3-biopython respectively and make the packages respect the new arch linux naming guidelines. I have kept both versions in the AUR for a week, to give a chance for packages that depended on biopython to update their dependences, which they now have (one of those packages seems not to be maintained any more tough). Could you please merge the "old" packages with the new ones, keeping the comments and votes? Thank you very much. Francisco Pina Martins

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community and I would contribute by adopting coreutils-acp package. I've got problem to install it with 'pacman -U' because of the already existing packages. Hi, [1] and [2] are old outdated and non-working packages. [3] was someone's project but the github doesn't exist anymore. Hi! I recently adopted and updated the following orphaned packages: - cross-arm-none-eabi-binutils - cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc - cross-arm-none-eabi-gdb Two packages from the cross-arm-none-eabi-* series remain as orphans in the AUR: - cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base - cross-arm-none-eabi-newlib In the past, the cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base package was used to bootstrap the GCC compiler for the ARM EABI target, which is no longer needed [1]. The cross-arm-none-eabi-newlib package was then built using the cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base package, which is no longer needed because my PKGBUILD does a combined source tree build, where the compilation of newlib is integrated with the GCC autotools build. Please remove the no longer needed cross-arm-none-eabi-gcc-base and cross-arm-none-eabi-newlib packages. Thanks! In general, should .install files enable systemd service files on startup by default (even if some custom config may or may not be required)? Are there any other special considerations when deciding?
