In anticipation of the final /lib move please remove [1] because it doesn't build anymore with recent kernels and soon the module will be installed to the wrong place. If possible merge the votes into [2] as it includes code fixes to build cleanly on recent kernels and a few more supported pid:vid combinations. Hi, I'm running current Arch 64-bit and I'm trying to install the AfterShot Pro [0] using aftershotpro 1.0.1.10-1 [1] First obstacle is this: $ makepkg -s ==> Making package: aftershotpro 1.0.1.10-1 (Thu Jul 12 20:42:48 BST 2012) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Installing missing dependencies... error: target not found: lib32-libpng12 ==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install missing dependencies. The Dependencies section on the package page [1] does not list lib32-libpng12 but libpng12 only. So, searching for lib32-libpng12 [2], but attempt to install it results in this: $ makepkg -s ==> Making package: lib32-libpng12 1.2.49-1 (Thu Jul 12 20:45:54 BST 2012) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Installing missing dependencies... resolving dependencies... looking for inter-conflicts... :: gcc-libs-multilib and gcc-libs are in conflict. Remove gcc-libs? [y/N] error: unresolvable package conflicts detected error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies) :: gcc-libs-multilib and gcc-libs are in conflict ==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install missing dependencies. Does anyone know how to get around it? The package aftershotpro 1.0.1.10-1 is 32-bit installs 32-bit version of the software from AfterShotPro_i386.rpm, but there is package for Linux Debian (64-bit) available [3]. I wonder if the maintainer could update the package using the 64-bit deb. The eclipse-egit package [ 0 ] is out-of-date and the maintainer said in the comments of the package almost a week ago that he's not going to update it. However he has not orphaned it so it can't be updated by another user. In this situation I ask about orphaning the package. Thank you in advance. Hello, Please delete rtmpdump-yle[1] because the maintainer of the package made the following comment: "THIS PACKAGE IS DEPRECATED!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS!!!!! You need to install the new yle-dl package from AUR, which will work with the new Areena." Please delete asp[2] because the package is very old (from 2006), links to some Sun thing which is now owned by Oracle, and the source link is broken and doesn't even use DNS. Hello, Please remove 'undo-tree' (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=48977) as it is a duplicate of the new/improved 'emacs-undo-tree' (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=60708) I actually own both packages (I just adopted 'undo-tree' today), and while I could have simply upgraded the 'undo-tree' package, I thought this would be a good time to get the naming right.
