[aur-general] Orphan Request

If it there is a chance that thunderbird-firetray-svn [1] could be orphaned from its current maintainer, please do. I ask this because this package is unmaintained since January and the current maintainer doesn't answer to e-mail. With the current version of Thunderbird this package needs to get its PKGBUILD updated every time a new version of thunderbird gets out in order to work. Currently I'm posting comments with modified PKGBUILDS in the AUR package page so people can get it to work. If it gets orphaned I will gladly adopt it. Hi, I switched my project repository from svn to git a while ago and I just uploaded a new PKGBUILD to the AUR. I would like to remove sqlantaresia-svn [1] and keep sqlantaresia-git [2] maybe merging the votes if possible. Thanks! Hi, I dont know the correct naming, but these packages have basically the same PKGBUILD: wicd-client-kde 0.2.1-2 http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40666 wicd-kde 0.2.2-1 http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=48672 and thes two have different PKGBUILD, but same naming scheme: wicd-kde-git 20110321-1 http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=43583 wicd-client-kde-git 20110404-1 http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40735 abracos (cheers) Antonio Lucas

[aur-general] wtf? tcp_wrappers back in [community]?

Sergej, We spent a week rebuilding packages to get tcp_wrappers out of [core] and out of the repos. Now I see that you've moved it back into [community]. What the hell? Were you going to start recompiling packages against tcp_wrappers and adding it back as a dep? Not acceptable. We all made this decision as a team, so I'm not sure why you're trying to fight us. I'm db-remove'ing this (again) and putting it back where it belongs. Regards, Dave

Hi TUs ! Since the Achron game is out, the achron-alpha [1] package is obsolete (people having access to the alpha also have access to the complete version), and has even been orphaned. As discussed in a previous forgotten thread [1] consider to remove, again firefox-extension-firebug-stable [2], replaced by a simpler firefox-firebug [3], updated to work with latest ff 6.0.1 Votes could be merged. cinelerra-transitions [1] is orphaned. Its original maintainer was the upstream owner. The source and website is dead. As it claims to be "Transitions for cinelerra mostly from akirad and OpenShot", I've uploaded a PKGBUILD cinelerra-swtc [2] containing the akirad transitions. I think cinelerra-transitions should be deleted as it is no more usable. I don't know if it makes sense to merge votes with cinelerra-swtc as it is only a subset of cinelerra-transitions.
