[arch-dev-public] Tedious: Moving packages from testing to the real repo

I've noticed this process is real tedious. cvs update tag -d TESTING or TESTING-64 tag -F CURRENT or CURRENT-64 ssh archlinux.org mv files from testing to staging/testing(64)/del cp staging/testing(64)/del to staging/$REPO(64)/add run /arch/db-testing(64) run /arch/db-$REPO It gets even more tedious when you have to do it for both architectures. So, I want to improve this, but I want to know what _you_ all would like as a usecase here? Should there be a script on gerolde to do it, or should it be part of devtools with the db-scripts still run on gerolde. Opinions?

Hey all, In response to http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/9570 I've built a libpng version with the APNG patchset and stuck it into testing. This patchset was introduced into mozilla for firefox3, and it looks pretty clean. Could people please give it a look and test it out to make sure it's ok? I've run a few programs using libpng here and they all seem to still work as before. -- Travis

I rebuilt klibc against the 2.6.24 headers and also rebuilt klibc-extras, klibc-module-init-tools and klibc-udev. Please sign off on the first three. klibc-udev has to be updated to 118 before moving to core, Aaron said he'd take care of that, I built 116-3 for now so the rest can be tested.
