Last week I've updated mesa to 7.0.3-rc1 (actually git snapshot dated 20080125), including a rebuild of xorg-server and all xf86-video-* drivers that included Mesa 7.0.1. There's still a few packages with included DRI drivers coming from Mesa 7.0.0, does this have a reason? I left them at 7.0.0. I've been running this new xorg-server on x86_64 with updated intel driver for a week now without noticable problems. Please test other configurations (unichrome/via/openchome and ati mainly and also the non-free fglrx driver if you can).

[arch-dev-public] Lots of packages in [testing]

I know most of them are perl packages, and we're waiting on that sort of thing, but could you guys take a peek at the packages in testing? Some of them have been there over a month, and some of them are older than versions in core and extra (i.e. sudo). I just found some of mine that should have been moved, so I'm guilty of this too. The reason I bring this up: when we get the new kernel issues all resolved and fleshed out, we should be releasing a new ISO. It'd be nice to have the latest-and-greatest core packages at that point. These two come as one nice little change, as they both need to go to core at the same time. * man 1.6f-2 Build with FHS compliance. These two have been bumped because apparently some people still had problems due to an edge case with the generation of pacnew files I bumped both the package and the md5sum on profile in order to get around edge cases with no pacnew files bash was a version bump too mainly to move the man pages filesystem changes: Setup for FHS compliant man pages - FS#8839 Claim ownership of /etc/profile from bash - FS#4766 Remove LESSCHARSET env var from /etc/profile - FS#8877 bash changes: Update patch level to 033 Remove /etc/profile from package. Move bashisms to /etc/profile.bash - FS#4766 /etc/profile was also largely revamped. Please comment on the changes there if you'd like. I'd like to get these into core as soon as possible

Do we need this package for anything? It's a translation tool for developers, I brought it in for pacman translations back in the day, but we've since moved away from it - any qualms with removing it from extra?
