Hey all, python-notify, currently in community, is a required package for the new version of sbackup, and I wanna pull it into extra. Anyone objected? Roman - since this is your package anyway, do you want to handle it and keep ownership of it in extra? -- Travis

The unofficial patch we had for PCRE 7.6 to revert ABI breakage has been changed to a more official patch that maintains compatibility with both the old and the new ABI. Please signoff for both architectures. More information: http://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=664

[arch-dev-public] Resignation from Dev/TU position

Hi guys, After a lot of thought, I've realised I've reached a point where I don't have the time and energy to contribute to Arch anymore. I'm at a transitional period from an intern to a practicing dentist(2 months to go), and a lot of work needs to be done, all of which requires a good amount of my time. I also will be travelling on business/education a lot this year, and for a good amount of time will not have access to any linux box to do Arch related work. And most importantly, I have to do a huge amount of studying this year to write a couple of board exams in the latter part of the year. I've tried balancing my schedule to get more time with arch in, but it doesn't seem to be working out too well, and I clearly need to focus on my profession. I don't want to see the quality of my packages suffer or my packages being out of date for long periods of time, so I decided that the best thing for me to do would be to step down at this point. The packages I've disowned and which are up for grabs are (luckily not too many): foobillard libbtctl bladeenc dvdbackup handbrake miro showimg smplayer (-rc currently in testing) smplayer-themes d4x deluge firestarter nicotine transmisson wicd gspcav1 I do hope I can set things right in my life and rejoin you guys sometime in (hopefully not too distant) the future. I will of course continue to use Arch all the time :) and try to help out occasionally when x86_64 difflist goes out of control :). Good luck to Aaron and the rest of the dev team, and all the TU's. [arch-dev-public] Opera 9.5x snapshots moved to unstable

I have removed the Opera devel snapshots from our testing repo to not mix it with future 9.2x releases. You find the latest 9.5x snapshots now in unstable for both arches. Take care - it replaces the stable Opera from extra. So backup all your stuff before you try it out. -AndyRTR

[arch-dev-public] Dead box, away until Sun

Hey guys, I'm flying out of town tonight, until Sunday. Recently the power supply died in the machine that I ssh into. I haven't had the time to replace it yet. As such I will be unable to do much this weekend, because I will have no access to these machines. I will get the filesystem package bumped for the new isos, as well as pushing out an experimental initscripts package if I can - this should be done before I leave for the airport (now + 7 hrs). Looks like a lot of the kernel stuff when it was moved over, in addition to a bunch of other stuff.
