Looking at the release page generated HTML there is an RSS feed (https://www.archlinux.org/feeds/releases/), but this doesn't seem to be visibly linked from the page. Hi I'm using btrfs on two LUKS encrypted partitions as root. This is working perfectly with the mkinitcpio hook "encrypt-multi" from the aur package "mkinitcpio-encrypt-multi". Does anybody know if there is a plan to include this functionality in the "encrypt" hook from core/cryptsetup ? regards, Karsten

[arch-general] Can't build virtualbox

Hello, I have a reproducible problem with virtualbox on my system. To find out which version was the first one that causes those problems for me, I want to build virtualbox on my own and step back until the problem no longer exists. I've checked out the community PKGBUILD's using git. [arch-general] tomoyo-init on linux 3.8.0-2

Regardless of what I add in kernel flags, tomoyo-init is never loaded. I see no noticable error messages anywhere in the logs. I have confirmed tomoyo-init works when manually loaded, and confirmed that tomoyo itself is working and loaded. [arch-general] Cannot get GNOME Keyring to work well with lightdm-razor-greeter and razor-qt

Hi everyone, I recently switched to razor-qt desktop and lightdm (for a faster startup), but I can't get gnome-keyring-daemon to run. I've tried https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME_Keyring#Use_Without_GNOME , but ~/.xinitrc doesn't seem to be executed at all. Plus, I don't want to add anything into ~/.bashrc, because I think $SSH_AUTH_SOCK and some relevant variables should just be set in the session. Is there any better idea? Thanks, Hexchain

[arch-general] watchdog 5.13 changes

The new watchdog 5.13 package removes the rc.d scripts and conf.d files. There is a systemd service file for watchdog included. There is no service file for wd_keepalive, because the functionality of wd_keepalive is provided by systemd - just uncomment RuntimeWatchdogSec=20 in /etc/systemd/system.conf.

Hi, everyone. I've a HP Pavilion g4 machine with UEFI, using rEFInd. After a upgraded to refind-efi 0.6.4-1 and linux 3.7.2-1, my system stopped to boot. rEFInd loads properly, and others boot options, like EFI Shell and Windows 8 are working, but trying to boot kernel 3.7.2 froze on the message in begin saying "Starting vmlinuz-linux ...kernel options". initrd was built correctly. This issue only occurs with linux 3.7.2, downgrading to 3.7.1 makes system bootable again (from where I'm writing). rEFInd config file is basically default, only with timeout changed to 5. My boot options: root=/dev/AndreSYS/Arch resume=/dev/AndreSYS/Swap cryptdevice=/dev/disk/by-uuid/e38e188e-f775-41fe-9607-ce977c7716d8:syslvm ro add_efi_memmap rootfstype=ext4 -- https://profiles.google.com/andre.vmatos
