[aur-general] disowning a couple of packages

Hi, I'm disowning sage-mathematics, sage-mathematics-spkgs(optdepends for sage-mathematics), fityk, and xylib(dependency for fityk). I will move them to the aur in a week if no TU adopts them in community. If you plan on adopting sage-mathematics, you should know that it is currently unbuildable on archlinux, and some other newer distros due to how it is built. It is currently out of date, and you wont be able to update it without fixing this. http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/10572 (13 month old bug without recent comments) http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/11391 (9 month old bug I filed without a sign of activity) If you plan on adopting fityk, note that it needs a development version of wxwidgets which I statically build in the same PKGBUILD. [aur-general] Anybody interested in maintaining courier stuff in [community]?

I recently changed away from using courier but as they are server packages they need close maintenance because they are critical to some people. I wondered whether any TU would like to take them over? I will maintain them for some time to come but I might eventually drop them if they don't get a new TU that actually uses them too.

Hello. I'd like to adopt zoneminder[1] package, it compilation fails, patches are available and I'd like to repair it. Marked out of date since 19th July 2012. lib32-libusb[1] is maintained by me and since libusb was replaced with lib32-libusbx, I believe lib32-libusb was replaced lib32-libusbx. [1] http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=56520 So, please delete lib32-libusb Thanks

[aur-general] Use "soundfontcombi" in place of current "sfc" and use "sfc" for another piece of software?

Hello, The package sfc ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=11363 ) should be used by simple flashcards: http://0au.de/apps/sfc/ Current users of sfc should be using the more canonically named package soundfontcombi ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=45868 ) in place of the sfc package. Would it be best to just add a notice that the software of the package is changing in a new package that I upload? The version numbers are different though. I'm not sure of the best way to resolve this situation. Thanks, Andreas Wagner
