Please orphan the AUR packages codeblocks and codeblocks-svn; the current maintainer is unreachable (hotmail says the user does not exist) and there is a new stable version; I have already posted pkgbuilds for it on the forum and am willing to adopt the packages. [aur-general] Can it be done?

NOTE: This is my first actual fresh pkgbuild. What a way to start! I've been looking into creating a package for FreePBX. However, I'm now wondering if it can be done with the pkgbuild system. The problem is that FreePBX wants a # of changes to a variety of packages (namely, mysql, apache, and php) and it wants to check to see that those changes are done before it installs. For instance, it wants mysql to already have a user account and PW for it as well as tables setup, etc. It seems like it might be difficult to make a package first add a bunch of system changes and then install the files. Is this possible to do? I'm thinking that my only hope would be to patch the FreePBX installer so that it no longer checks and instead make all of the necessary changes in an .install file which would run after the package is installed, correct? It would have been helpful if there was much of any documentation on how to go about building packages. But, I can't seem to find much of anything concrete.

Hello list, I sent this mail because I would like become a TU. My name is Andrea Scarpino aka BaSh, I'm 20 years old, I'm go at University (Computer Science). I use Linux since 2004 (Suse, Slackware, then ArchLinux), and I'm programming ( C++, Java, Python, bash scripting ). I'm contributing to Forum and IRC of Arch Italian Community, AUR, Wiki, and some fix. I would like to maintain some packages in Community (I will look at orphans first) and also move adesklet's utils and devede from Unsupported to Community. [aur-general] little AUR glitches

On the main page of AUR, my statistics indicate that I have one package flagged out-of-date, but I have looked at the list of my packages and I simply cannot find it. Could someone check this please? thanks! Oh, and one more thing: on the packages page, when I select "Location=community", "Per page = 100" and click on "Orphans", I see items 1 to 100 of a list of 109. But clicking the link "More" at the bottom right does not bring one to the next page with items 101 to 109: instead I get the same first page. F
