[aur-general] Trying to add a aur package dependencies

hello, I am trying to add a PKGBUILD to the aur, see https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnome-dvb-daemon-git/ but the dependencies will not show up, also the aurinfo file is visable in the archive steps to make the archive - makepkg --source is there an error with the PKGBUILD or AURINFO? is the aurinfo really needed or can i drop it? greetings Steven Vanden Brandqen

Hi, For some reason the Rockbox people use a modified speex format to generate the talk clips. As far as I know the standard speexenc program can not create .talk files. So, I tried modifying the existing rbutil-git package to just build the rbspeex package and it is broken. Unfortunately the existing rbutil-git package doesn't include the rbspeexenc and dec programs when it installs the utility. It's ok though, having these seperate would be preferable, cause you may want one and not the other. attached is the PKGBUILD. Thanks Storm -- Powered by Arch Linux! [aur-general] NodeJS build dependencies

I'm the maintainer of "brackets" package on AUR. It's a code editor written in javascript upon NodeJS library. Nodejs package from community repo ships "npm", a command-line tool to manage nodejs packages. To satisfy nodejs dependency for my package, should I use npm inside build() function in my PKGBUILD (solution that I prefer and now I'm using), or should I create an AUR tarball for every dpendency, and add all those ones inside depends() array? Hi everyone, I think it would be a good idea to link to the package for a request when it has been fulfilled. The messages do not show up in the same thread and there is no link, just 'request #1234 accepted' and which TU has accepted it.
