Hi. I want to remove many packages, if it is possible. First, the group lib32-gnustep-clang-svn: lib32-gnustep-base-clang-svn <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gnustep-base-clang-svn/> lib32-gnustep-corebase-clang-svn <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gnustep-corebase-clang-svn/> lib32-gnustep-gui-clang-svn <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gnustep-gui-clang-svn/> lib32-gnustep-libobjc2-clang-svn <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gnustep-libobjc2-clang-svn/> lib32-gnustep-make-clang-svn <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gnustep-make-clang-svn/> -> Because it was dependencies of darling-multilib-git <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/darling-multilib-git/>. Before, darling-multilib-git depended of group gnustep-clang-svn & lib32-gnustep-clang-svn, and today, it depends only of gnustep-multilib-clang-svn (a new group which replaces both). Second, it is packages from The Northfield Project (an old fork of Wayland Project): northfield-git <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/northfield-git/> (Wayland fork) norwood-git <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/norwood-git/> (Weston fork) -> Because Scott Moreau (A.K.A. soreau), the main dev, has not yet commited since 7 months! This fork is died, his activity (https://github.com/soreau?tab=activity) shows he continues to work on Wayland (and not Northfield). So I don't known if we can build these packages, because nobody uses these on Arch. And last, it's about Psensor: psensor-catalyst <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/psensor-catalyst/> -> Psensor (Catalyst) is Psensor, but with AMD proprietary driver support. Nobody uses it, I was alone, but I don't use more Catalyst. And I think it is bad to add the AMD Display Library (ADL) SDK in a package. Thanks in advance, X0rg.

Hello, I'm not sure which is a better package name as there seems to be no dominating convention in the AUR, so I will leave that decision up to the TUs. [aur-general] Request to merge eclipse-382 and eclipse-38

Hello, Eclipse 3.8.2 is released months ago, but the package eclipse-38 still remains in 3.8.0. No response from the maintainer. Hence I created the package eclipse-382 . Could someone merge eclipse-382 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/eclipse-382 <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vim-vimwiki-hg/> into eclipse-38 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/eclipse-38 <https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vim-vimwiki-git/> ? [aur-general] Re-iterating the problem of AUR xorriso and Archlinux libisoburn

Hi, six weeks ago, i asked for advise how to deal with the outdated AUR package of my program xorriso, which overwrites the executables of the properly maintained package https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?name=libisoburn On advise of this list, i later posted comments to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorriso/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorriso-tcltk/ which received no reply and did not cause any activity. A month ago i wrote to the published mail address of the maintainer "dreieck". No reaction since then. What can i do to instigate the resolution of this mess ? Meanwhile the AUR package "xorriso" overwrites the current "libisoburn" version xorriso-1.3.2 by a xorriso version, which is three releases and 8 months older. Between both releases there happened 13 bug fixes. Have a nice day :) Thomas

Hello all, please merge smali2 [1] into smali [2] smali was marked out-of-date some time ago and not maintained, in the meanwhile Fernando (Firef0x) submitted smali2 with a recent version. As smali got disowned yesterday, i adopted it and updated it to 2.0 after speaking to JesusFreke (the author of smali, who pointed out that 1.4 is a dead end). The split pkg 'backintime' provides the same binaries as 'backintime-kde4' rendering the later redundant. I checked with the current maintainer of 'backintime-kde4' and he/she agrees. Package [pyobfsproxy][1] should be merged to [obfsproxy][2], because the upstream project name does not changed, only a python version replaces the old C version, and package [obfsproxy][2] has been updated with the python version.
