It is simple, actually. When a user uploads a package, they should be given rights to remove it if need be. Simply claiming an orphan wouldn't grant the rights. That way only mods and original uploaders would get permission to remove packages and it wouldn't be prone to abuse. It would also contribute less clutter to the mailing list and less hassle for people that make innocuous mistakes like mine. Bureaucracy cripples everything. Sorry for not quoting. "scribus-ng" is release candidate package with an outdated (old) version and hasn't been updated for a year now. Plus this outdated package is the only one of this maintainer, so I guess he doesn't really want to maintain it. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=47919 (note: there is another maintained "release candidate" package, scribus-rc, no need for both) "scribus-stable" is outdated, orphan and there's a stable version of scribus in [extra], therefore this package is nonsense. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=35538 Thanks
