Hello, these two packages ( http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=3759 and http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=3760 ) need to be updated but the original author doesn't reply to my emails. Moreover, the PKGBUILDs have a really horrible indentation. Could someone please orphan them so that I can adopt?

Package autoscan ( http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7009 ) is out-of-date as of January 2008. The author has not updated and the PKGBUILD does not work due to the outdated source referenced in the PKGBUILD. Could someone orphan it so that it may be worked on by someone else?

Hi there. jxy is asking me on AUR if I can include the info file of the emacs-org-mode package. however, an old version of org-mode is now shipped with emacs, thus installing some info files within /usr/share/info. Is there a policy to address this problem ? Should I overwrite the info files from emacs (bad idea I guess) Should I rename the info file ? Should I just avoid installing the file, as I'm doing now ? Hello, I package uniconvertor, and it has a conflict with another package called yudit. Basically, both try to create /usr/bin/uniconv and the uniconvs are completely different programs. My name is Dan Griffiths and I am a 26-year-old independent contractor in Delaware, US. I have been using one form of *NIX or another for most of my life, wandering through MINIX, RedHat, Mandrake, Slackware, Debian, Gentoo and even two home made distros before finally finding Arch about a year ago. I instantly fell in love with Arch and haven't looked back once. I am currently maintaining 32 packages in the AUR, including one of my own (co-written) scripts. I go by the name Ghost1227 on the bugtracker, AUR, Wiki and on IRC. Simply put, I'm eternally grateful for the work others have put into making this such an incredible distribution and would now like to give something back to that community. I understand that at the moment there has been a bit of an influx of new TUs and as such some of you may (understandable) want to wait a while before adding anyone new to the list. As such, I thought I should introduce myself and give you all a chance to get to know me and take a look at my work without needing an immediate response. Take your time to get comfortable with the new additions, and when you are ready (and I have found a sponsor), I will still be waiting. I do use some of the older madwifi stuff. Um, can you be specific as to the EXACT *and* correct (full) names of the files you are talking about ? I wanted to get people's opinions before I acted on this. The madwifi-injection package is outdated, and from several reports, the core madwifi drivers now provide this. Is there any reason to keep the package on AUR, or should I just delete it?
