[arch-general] Dmenu vs. KMS

Hi, guys. Have some troubles with dmenu(4.2.1-1), stock kernel(2.6.38.4-1) and perhaps xf86-video-ati(6.14.1-1): dmenu lags. Vertical listing is really pain in the ass(latency ~1 sec) and with blob everything works just fine. If anyone has the same here i'll post it to suckless's or x.org's bugzilla. Device: Radeon HD4570 Mobile How to test: o In attachments there is file named "test". o Command: cat test | dmenu -l 10 o Lags(or no lags)

[arch-general] what about a gtk3-docs package?

Hi, I recently installed the dev tools for GNOME development and wondered why devhelp displayed no documentation for GTK3. Apparently there is no gtk3-docs package. Is it intented to not have that package (which makes no sense as there is the gtk2-docs package)? Now that GNOME 3 moved to [extra] it would be great to have the docs at hand. Thanks.

[arch-general] pacman: -Rd remove with no dependency check changed?

Hello, I just wanted to remove and install again some pkg because something screwed.. I run $ sudo pacman -Rd pm-utils checking dependencies... error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) :: upower: requires pm-utils AFAIK this was the point of -d (--nodeps) to remove the files without whining about dependencies? Is this a bug? Or how do I achieve the old behavior? Thank you, Mark -- Marek Otahal :o)
