Hi, while going through the python rebuild, I came across a few packages which could be removal candidates: Dead sources: driconf openlh-client openlh-core openlh-server python-geotypes (could be temporary, see http://initd.org/) python-psycopg1 (could be temporary, see http://initd.org/) subdl tango-generator Broken builds: canorus gimpshop libdesktop-agnostic (awn-extras-applets depends on this) python-scipy Maybe somebody could take a look at fixing canorus/libdesktop-agnostic/python- scipy builds. Any opinions on removal of all other packages? schuay

I removed it from [community] because upstream stopped updating the plugin collection around two years ago. Most of the plugins included in the last release (2.24.1) are badly outdated by now. The preferable course of action is to add individual packages to the AUR for each of the plugins. [aur-general] Inactivity: schiv

Hi guys I'll be departing for a 7-day rural project in a couple of hours. Due to weight/space/carrying-capacity limitations I cannot bring along a laptop. I really believe it'll be out in the middle of nowhere, so the chances for computers, let alone Internet, are 0. As far as [extra] is concerned, there are no pending TODO tasks or flagged packages. None of the rebuilds for [community] has been completed, as I was waiting for community-staging. I have built some of them locally but they are not up in any of the servers or reflected in svn. libelf has been superseded by elfutils in [core], so does lib32-elfutils with lib32-libelf in AUR. Can you delete lib32-libelf ( http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19086) please ?

Hi, Just wrote a small script to check for duplicate package names in the AUR and the official repos and created a list of duplicates. For each of the packages I quickly checked AUR and [extra]/[community] package versions, AUR comments and whether there seem to be some additional patches in the AUR version. It might be better to double check tho...
