Do not hold me to this but I have never been able to use non standard sizes passed to grub or grub2 and then once X has started it switches to my actual screen rez of 1900x768 or something like that. For me though when I run 1280x800 in grub when I am outside of X everything seems fine no large text and everything fits on screen. Not sure if any of this actually if of help but figured would be worth sharing in case it spurs some other ideas for you.

Hi . I have an Iomega NAS drive that i used to be able to read and write to using opensuse now i need to write to it and am completely unable to i can still read from it . Recently, i found my Dell D630 can't poweroff . when i shutdown my laptop, it will shutdown all device except power,i must use power button forced to close it. but i don't know what the matter is.

[arch-general] blueman failed to send file to device without obexftp service

Hello, I have an Android 2.3 phone, and blueman failed to send file to it. Nor did obexfs mount the phone. After some check, I found the phone doesn't support OBEX FTP, but supports OBEX Object Push. So I managed to send the file with ussp-push. Is there a workaround for blueman? Or have I misconfigured something? Guys The update to shadow has caused problems and I needed to rebuild shadow 4.1.4.3-5. I have run into the DSO error regarding libattr. I know I need to update the Makefile.am or patch the Makefile after the ./configure, but I'm not having any luck. All, Strange behavior on boot with both standard and LTS kernels. After updates today. Boot hangs on hal load when encountered in DAEMONS line of rc.conf. hal IS started, but boot hangs with both the normal kernel and LTS. This behavior is confirmed when starting hal manually. This occurs with both the old hal 0.5.14-6 and version 0.5.14-7 from aur. This stops the boot process dead in its tracks requiring a ctrl+alt+del to kill the hang. I had to boot to 'single' user mode to bring my box up enough to remove hal from the daemons line. Any ideas which package may be causing this? I know hal is on the way out, but it is needed currently for development of Trinity. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
