>Does that mean aufs2 itself works but in combination with unionfs it is not >working? Aufs2 works fine if your not using unionfs. I think this cause the fs/stack.c file was major edit with unionfs patch. Just a guess has to why unionfs screws up aufs2.

Aufs freezes my archiso-live build in virtualbox. I believe this bug is cause aufs2 only worked for me without unionfs. Sadly thats the only way i ever got aufs2 to work at all with kernel 2.6.29 that i build.

Hello fellow Arch Linux devels and users, I'm wondering if it's inappropriate to use "mkdir -p" in PKGBUILD instead of "install". I've seen quite many official PKGBUILDs that use mkdir instead of install, whose very structure I've adopted and applied in my various PKBUILDs. Does it matter if it's mkdir or install, and why? [arch-general] System tools SMBConfig not running properly

Hey, I just ran a system update this morning which updated all of the new GNOME updates and some arch updates. The issue now is that after I restart, I find that the SystemBackendTools.pl script (especially for '-m SMBConfig') is running at full capacity. It also keeps opening a new loading window almost every second so that I can't see my running windows in the task panel anymore. Anyone know about this, or what could be causing it? Thanks, Will

Hello All :-) i am posting again boz i m getting error due to i am (newbie) at linux.the problem is here i have a simple user john when i gave command for poweroff it shows like that [john@arch ~]$ poweroff poweroff: .
