[arch-general] chromium, or libva, or something, makes xorg dump core

I am only seeing this with chromium. Perhaps becuase, in general, I am only using a small set of applications. Chromium was started by $chromium |& > chromiumFailure AT some point after the chromium window is initially seen, X is getting killed, core is dumped. [arch-general] IPv6 fast address rotation with systemd-networkd 249rc2-1 in [testing]

Hi I'm having an issue with IPv6 connectivity since systemd-networkd 249rc2-1 from [testing]. I noticed SSH sessions (all IPv6) locking up every few minutes, and after some digging it turns out to be due to very fast IPv6 temporary address rotation, making any long-lived SSH session impossible. I'm using systemd-network for network configuration, and downgrading systemd to 248 and rebooting fixed the issue. After upgrading again, but not rebooting, just restarting systemd-networkd introduces the issue again. So it's clearly a systemd-networkd introduced issue. Anyone else seeing this? Geert

Hi, I'm probing archlinux with i3wm tiling window manager. I love it! I come archlinux + kde desktop. I have a dell xps 13' model 9370. I have a problem when work with two monitors. The primary monitor (laptop) freeze any open container (terminal, program...) randomly in workspace. This only occur in laptop screen. The workspace freeze and cannot kill containers. The only things is restart lightdm ... My i3config is very basic.

Hi, all a& Yan the pkg 'rfc' is a great thing. But it has not update since Wed Jul 8 00:57:57 2020. I had checked the build script and found that there is a script 'mirror-to-arch.sh' to download the data and the index from https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc, that site is updated. Do you think the archlinux should be update with the original info source ? thanks!

[arch-general] AMDGPU does not show consider external DisplayPort monitors on PRIME laptop

Hi all, I thought it would be easier to ask here first; if I should open a bug report on the Arch or any other tracker, I can definetely do so. I have an ASUS laptop with a Ryzen 4800H and a Geforce RTX 2060 Mobile. All is good, except the support of external monitors via DisplayPort. While previously I used HDMI via a single monitor, I finally took from my workplace my working monitors and connected them in daisy chain and connected the laptop to them via USB-C to USB-C. The whole setup works on Windows, but on Linux I cannot make it work when using the AMDGPU driver. I tried disabling it and using the NVIDIA one via `optimus-manager` and the latter can easily detect and handle all the monitors. The weird fact is that DisplayPort partially works with AMDGPU, as I am able to use my mouse and headset connected to the monitor but I cannot detect any monitor to display images. I honestly have no clue why this problem sussists. I need and would like some tips for investigating the issue and reporting where necessary. Thanks in advance. Bests, Giovanni
